Geschichte

Bavaria Pictures GmbH was founded in 2004, develops and produces feature films for cinema release and is 100% owned by Bavaria Film GmbH of the Bavaria Film Group. Besides this, Bavaria Pictures GmbH provides co-production as well as full production service for national and international film productions irrespective from the format (movies, documentaries, TV Series and others). Bavaria Film Group is one of the biggest media companies in Europe and with a rich tradition. ,Filmstadt Geiselgasteig', the 'filmcity' to the south of Munich and for more then 80 years the head office of Bavaria Film, is the centre of an international network of subsidiaries and co-operation partners.
