Very nice restaurant. You don't have to eat, they will let you order coffee or a drink only if that's what you want. It is right on top of the hill and the view is amazing. A bit pricey, but expected. Staff was really nice too. You can request food for kids and vegetarians.

LIEBEN SIE WEIN ? Alles sieht gut aus aber pass auf fur "Service". In small German towns it is not easy to get a portion of fresh vegetables. It is meat dishes all over. In this attractive looking restaurant there were dishes includeding vegetables but mainly meat / fish. I asked this young, polite male waiter if the kitchen was able to prepare a mixed-vegetable dish for me. A young lady on the background who acted as the Manager overheard my request and immediately told me that "NO, THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE". Too bad. Anyway, we would look for vegetable dishes elsewhere in town. In the meanwhile we ordered a soup. The young "Manager lady" made sure to change our linen napkins for paper ones ( ! ) For "only" soup, the linen napkins were most likely "not worth it" and "too costly". The same moment she asked: "LIEBEN SIE WEIN? " ,( DO YOU LIKE WINE ? " ) yes, I said. I like wines. Ok, she said: here is the wine list and this and that you can order now. It was lunch time for us and I don't drink alcohol during daytime. I declined ordering wine. The Manager lady looked disappointed. This lady did not come across as guest friendly person. The young waiter did. Too bad she was the Manager. I am sure that if she would not have been in charge we would have ordered more, stayed longer and enjoyed more of this attractive looking establishment.

Nice place to have a beer, if you are not in a rush. The service is indeed not obtrusive, as others have noted. But if you have time to take in the views and are in a good company, this doesn't matter much.

Excelent restaurant with tasty food and good service. If weather permits the terrace has a nice view.
