Als Newcomerin mit ihrer aktuellen LP "Little Journey" in die iTunes Charts Jazz auf Platz 42 eingestiegen, erweitert Christiane Dehmer mit ihrer vierten Veröffentlichung LONGING ihr intuitives und kraftvolles Klavierspiel geschickt und einfühlsam mit Klängen aus Synthesizern und akustischen Instrumenten. Tiefgreifend und behutsam hat Christiane auf diesem Album modernen Ambient Jazz geschaffen, der Gedanken und Gefühlen der Sehnsucht einen positiven Ausdruck verleiht. Die diplomierte Jazz-Pianistin, die in Würzburg und Weimar studierte und an der Hochschule für Musik Würzburg lehrt, begeistert mit so manchem gewagten Gebilde an virtuoser Spielkunst und berührenden Kompositionen.

Christiane Dehmer is a passioned and professional pianist. In her compositions and improvisations she is playing her instruments with great enthusiasm and new timbres. It combines harmonious diversity and sophistication with catchy melodies, transparent structures and atmospheric sounds. The character in her moody instrumental arrangements alternates between delicate emotional depth, progressive suspension and power of confidence.
She is expanding her intuitive, often lyrical as well as powerful piano playing with synthesizers. With these lively sounds Christiane has a language with which can be much more accurate than words to express emotions in music. In her album "LONGING" she plays different sides of longing with compositions that take a lot of room for spontaneous improvisations at the same time in itself. So the music is live every time something different, but always touching, relaxing, optimistic and inspiring.
