app.a GmbH & Co KG is a Munich (Germany) based music & entertainment tech startup.

The company’s mission is to introduce an app-based new product-type called: app-album. An app-album is featuring an artists work to its full extent - way beyond the music. Every app-album consists of a multimedia story booklet containing the mood of the album in form of videos, images, texts, lyrics and much more as well as the music itself.

The app-album is a unique and innovative format presenting an artist’s work in a new light. Every app-album will be available for purchase on Android and iOS driven devices.

The company app.a holds a patent for an especially secure storage facility - the music vault - of the digital data.

app.a fights for the protection of the intellectual property of artists, offers fair compensation for the sales of an artist’s app-album and provides the best possible quality of sound.

Artists, music-labels and story-tellers are welcome to make use of the outstanding invention of the app-album.
