the design language is inspired by german design values with a laid back easiness to create the ultimate glasses. simple but refined and consistantly cool, a stripped down minimalism paired with the highest technical standards, that is freudenhaus.

freudenhaus eyewear is more than a fashion accessory - it becomes a part of you. a very important part of you. in the middle of your face it becomes the focus of every hello, goodbye and i love you....

The designers believe in simplicity and the beauty of lines and angles on your face - it should be about advertising yourself - not about being bizarre.

freudenhaus was founded in 1991 by stefan flatscher and uwe pinhammer. in 1992 the freudenhaus villa opened in schwabing. a revolutionary eyewear boutique concept. followed by the first Freudenhaus collection with glasses like the "dani". a frame which changed modern eyewear to what we see today. in 2001 the freudenhaus eyewear store reinvented itself and moved to the center of munich, at odeonsplatz next to the residences of the former Kings of Bavaria. in 2008 the freudenhaus "white cube" opened in schwabing - an ultra modern eyewear store all in white.....

Freudenhaus Eyewear is sold in the award winning "Freudenhaus Eyewear boutiques" and in the finest optical stores on five continents.
