But not in the way you would think. A Brennwagen is not designed to take victory at car races, but to win the hearts of food and barbecue lovers around the world. Indeed, the idea of the first Brennwagen was born on the racetrack and put to life by Ex Formula 1™ engineer Florian Wagner. A motorsport enthusiast and passionate about grilling, Florian was looking for a new challenge after leaving Formula 1™ in 2009 and switched from burning rubber to burning charcoal. The result was a series of unique, stylish and multifunctional grilling devices that share their name with many an automobile legend - the Brennwagen GT series.
