As a municipal institution it is committed to supporting contemporary (German) Art and encouraging ongoing dialogue and intellectual exchange by featuring temporary and travelling exhibitions of current work. Local artists are invited on a regular basis as well as guests from all over Germany. The work of international artists is exhibited occasionally. The gallery provides a relatively small but conveniently sized exhibition space of nearly 180 square meters.
