Geschichte
From day one Light Boardcorp was a rider driven company with his roots in the core board sport.
Founded in 1996 Light began producing custom shaped snowboards for friends and selected competitors with new standard technologies like vacuum molding. Through the years and in close association with our riders, shapers and manufactures the board collection grew to over 35 different models with best quality at the best price. 
As an established brand in the snowboard scene we soon recognized the potential for growth. In 2003 the Surfboard Line was born. Together with world-class shapers Michael Baron (MB) and Richard Evans , a Bali based shape factory and a worldwide team, Light created a high quality surf brand. 
Today Light Boardcorp is one of the few brands offering serious surf and snow hard-goods as well as technical and functional board sport clothing and street wear.
You’ll find us all over the globe, in our surfboard factory
at Bali, our snowboard manufacturer in Austria, team riders in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the USA or at stores in Hossegor , Peniche, Kaprun and Les Arc.
