BESTAR is a German specialty steel supplier focussing on steel for industrial cutting tools, especially circular saw blades, band saw blades and knives.

Geschichte
Since 1978 BESTAR has been supplying specialty steel products of the highest quality for manufacturers of industrial tools, saw blades and knives. With locations in Remscheid (Germany), Atlanta (U.S.A.) and Hong Kong our delivery program includes:

- Hot rolled strip (wide strip, narrow strip) in grades such as DIN EN 1.2003 (75Cr1), 1.2235 (80CrV2) and AISI 8670 (SKS5)

- Cold rolled strip, hardened and tempered for
     - circular saw blades
     - wood band saws
     - wood frame saws
     - gang saw blades

- Sheets and Plates in tool steel grades such as 1.2067 (102Cr6, 52100), 1.2379 (D2), 1.2360 (Chipper, A8 mod.), 1.2363 (A2) or 1.2510 (O1)

- High speed steel grades such as 1.3343 (M2)

- Stainless and corrosion resistant grades such as 1.4034 (420), 1.4112 (440b) or BECUT

- Flat bars in tool steel and high speed steel grades up to 810 mm (31.9") width

- Round bars in tool steel and high speed steel grades up to 610 mm (24.1") diameter
