The ear is the most sensitive sense a human being has. Regarding its resolution the ear outperforms the eyes by a factor of 1 Million. It is the first organ who’s basic abilities are already fully developed 4 ½ month before birth.
The first impressions we get when we become a human being are hearing the heartbeat of the mother, which creates the basic trust. Having this in mind makes it easy to understand why audible sensations may create and impress very deep emotions. Regarding its resolution the ear outperforms the eyes by a factor of 1 Million. It will detect distortions which are not easy to measure, however easy to hear.
And also when dead is near it always is the last sense that still works, when all other 6 senses are already gone.
We believe hearing is our most important sense, and our idea of audio in the end is not a technical, but a sensational (emotional?) one.

We also are of the opinion that we cannot improve music once it is recorded. We may only give the recording the best proposition to recreate while playing it.
One presupposition here is to keep all kind of distortions, like THD, Intermodulation, and so on at the lowest level possible.
However we found that this is by far not enough, having in mind the capability of the human ear.
Based on the ideas, experience and knowledge of more than three decades of intensive research we created unique solutions for audio.
For only one reason: To enjoy.
