Geschichte
Das silent green Kulturquartier: ein neuer Veranstaltungsort und ein unabhängiges Projekt in den historischen Räumlichkeiten des ehemaligen Krematorium Wedding, das im Sommer 2015 seine Eröffnung feierte.  Als Kombination von Büros, Ateliers und Veranstaltungsflächen, versteht sich das silent green als ein interdisziplinärer Standort für Kunst und Kultur. Neben der Kuppelhalle, die für Konzerte prädestiniert ist, soll bis 2018 die unterirdische Betonhalle zum Ausstellungsort für Bewegtbildkunst umgebaut werden.

silent green Kulturquartier is situated in the historically listed former Wedding Crematorium, and opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2015. The independent project considers itself a site for interdisciplinary art and cultural production, and constitutes a combination of offices, studios and events venues. The cupola, which is predestined for concerts, is supposed to be complemented by the underground hall by 2018: In the next two years, it will be redeveloped as an exhibition space for motion picture art.
