Geschichte
Established since 1968 and based in the media city of Hamburg Germany, Membran boasts a catalogue in excess of 5.000 albums and controls over 250.000 tracks. We are active in both physical and digital distribution and in addition to the music retail, we also distribute to the book trade.

Our label management and marketing entity, NEO Membran GmbH, established in 1996, has redefined the roles of distributors and record labels in the European market ever since. NEO offers labels, artists and producers services in:

-          Physical & Digital Sales and Marketing
-          Licensing co-ordination and syncs for Film & Advertising
-          Manufacturing
-          Product Management
-          Promotion to: Radio, Press, TV, Online & Mobile

In this capacity we have successfully launched and marketed newcomer artists and labels as well as established stars such as: Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, Brian Setzer, Chris Norman, Marc Cohn, Glen Campbell, and many more. The distribution is tailor-made and we can choose to release products through our long standing partner (since 2000) Sony Music Entertainment (Germany) or through our independent network of distribution partners throughout Europe and even worldwide if required.
