jacobsHack! is a student-run organization that originated at the international Jacobs University Bremen in Germany.
jacobsHack! organizes a hackathon competition for developers and entrepreneurs.
More than 100 premiere student programmers will meet up for a weekend of fun and learning. Students work together in teams of up to four people over a period of twenty-four hours to create a web, mobile or hardware application."Located in northern Germany in the city of Bremen, Jacobs University is one of the country’s most international universities, characterized by a truly intercultural and close-knit community of students and faculty. Founded in 2001 as a private English-speaking university, Jacobs attracts highly talented and open-minded students from all over the world, with 1,466 students from over 100 countries currently living on our residential campus."
