Why transport fuel when there’s enough wood around? The FYRO® stove burns wood and other biomass with a clean and powerful flame.

The unique FYRO® stove allows you to take advantage of abundant natural biomass fuel in a convenient way. You can cook elaborate meals, warm up arbitrary amounts of water for hygiene and cleaning, or melt snow – without transporting fuel or ever running out. The novel design with a three-stage combustion process using preheated air gives a powerful and soot-free flame that leaves your pots clean. The combustion starts up with virtually no smoke in just a few minutes and burns reliably for more than an hour. You can adjust the power level from searing to simmering with a simple regulator, and the stove will keep your desired power level constant so that you can focus on your cooking without having to worry about maintaining the fire. In essence, the FYRO® stove combines the advantages of wood fuel with the convenience of a conventional camping stove. See “How it works” for more details on our technology.

Biomass fuel is inherently safer than any other fuel. Unlike diesel or gasoline, wood is simply a part of your natural outdoor environment and perfectly safe to transport and handle. The FYRO® stove has no pressurized parts and cannot leak. Therefore the stove is perfectly acceptable for air travel and other means of transport. The combustion chamber is closed off with grids and locking mechanisms so that virtually no burning material escapes even when the stove is turned upside down while operating.

The combustion chamber is thermally isolated and raised above the ground so that the stove leaves no trace in the environment. Only a small handful of ashes remain in the combustion chamber when the stove has burned out.
