"Today, about 380 employees work at the modern die-casting plant that was taken over in 1999 by GF Casting Solutions.With in-house CNC machining and assembly departments, the plant contributes with high efficiency to the manufacturing of casting solutions from raw parts up to ready-to-mount die-cast components in aluminum for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Main products today are engine blocks, transmission housings for passenger cars and commercial vehicles as well as more and more castings for electric vehicles; for example, battery housings and electric gearboxes."
