WILLKOMMEN - WELCOME

jazzpoint records is a small but powerful operation which has been successful from its very beginning in 1978.
The managements deep love for music and their products have resulted in the highest standard of quality on all levels - very much to the benefit of both customers and artists. In the beginning jazzpoint had focussed on the production of modern jazz, but - starting 1992 - also concentrated on the preservation of the music of some of the real giants of traditional American Jazz, such as Clarinetist/Saxophonist Benny Waters who had recorded with Louis Armstrong's mentor Joe "King" Oliver way back in 1927!

A subsidiary of jazzpoint records is publishing company "Reinsburg Music" caring for and managing both gigs and music rights of jazzpoint artists. This service is provided worldwide. Another speciality of jazzpoint is a very interesting package of classic productions Gertraud Jankejová has produced, and which, of course can be available under G&J Records International. All mentioned services and the very personal treatment of both customers and artists have resulted in great confidence in jazzpoint who are proud to state that mega-stars such as Jaco Pastorius, LarryCoryell, Miroslav Vitous, Steve Lacy, Benny Waters, Doc Cheatham, Oscar Klein, Romano Mussolini, Carmen Daniela etc. have recorded on jazzpoint records & G&J Records International.
