Complete integration of international students and graduates into the German job market is the main object of JobStarter. Since: Good welcoming culture does not end with graduation but should include the first steps in the German job market.

Geschichte

The "JobStarter" program is an initiative started by the CAU (Christian-Albrechts-University), and funded by DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), to introduce the International students to German job market. The project is already in action since July 2015 within the framework of International Center of Christian-Albrechts-University and opencampus.

We at "JobStarter" believe that most of the companies these days, are willing and open to hiring International students. Following the current globalization trends in market, they also become more internationalized in terms of culture, language and work leading to better financial success and future prospects.

Therefore, we built this platform through which we can easily integrate and promote the best foreign students/graduates during or after they finish their studies to increase employment opportunities for them (Jobs, internships, part-time jobs etc). This would also increase the collaboration possibilities between Industry and academia.
