Geschichte

KACO new energy is amongst the world’s largest manufacturers of solar inverters. The company offers solutions for every array size from the smallest homes to the largest solar farms of hundreds of Megawatts.

The company's headquarters are located in Neckarsulm in South-West Germany. Manufacturing facilities there, as well as in the Americas and Asia have supplied more than 9 Gigawatts of inverter power to world markets since 1999. The Company was the first inverter manufacturer to achieve fully carbon-neutral production.

The roots of the KACO group stretch back to 1914. In the 1950s, KACO was the largest manufacturer of electromechanical choppers, the predecessors of today’s inverters. Based on the cumulative know how from this long-standing experience, KACO new energy also supplies PV-diesel hybrid systems, energy storage solutions and battery inverters. Innovative solutions for supplying electricity to industrial applications and rail constitute another important field of activity.
