We are Melvin & Hamilton. This stands for a brand, products, and moreover, a team with a lot of inspirations. Let us introduce ourselves!


A FAMILY STORY

In 1988, Rajab Choukair created the label Melvin & Hamilton, for young men who were just discovering the art of business looks.

His sons, Karim & Olivier, grew up between shoes and leather, and are therefore passionate about it. That's why the brothers decided quite naturally to keep the label their father had created, and to design their own products. With a simple objective: to make shoes that are unique.


A TEAM

Karim & Olivier design their products themselves, assisted by a small team. They work in Heidelberg, in Germany, a charming little city. They take care of products, assure shipping & logistics, receive new collections & organise everything… And send you your products with care!

There is also a small team that takes care of the digital part of Melvin & Hamilton, from France. If you’re in touch with the brand on social media or via the websites, they are the ones who will contact you!

/ It’s about choosing everything, from the shape of a shoe to the leather that will fit you the best. High quality leather for a fair price with a unique design; that’s always the aim of Melvin & Hamilton.

/ It’s about innovation and the search of new details to add: new homemade colours & creams, new designs, coloured soles, new ways to create patterns, like the laser printed ones…

/ It’s about giving birth to each product; taking care of it from the very first step of creation & production, feeling proud of every shoe & accessory - so they get their living soul.

INSPIRATION EVERYWHERE

We make shoes with love & care. But we’re not only passionate about shoes, we get inspiration from everywhere: in fashion of course, but also in every detail of lifestyle. We love cars, we enjoy traveling, we have a certain idea of life and we put everything related to that little world we have in our products.

We’re from Heidelberg, in Germany; but not only. We’re European: our inspiring influences may be found in Berlin & in London, but also in Paris where a part of our team lives & works, and of course in Roma, the city of leather & fashion we love.
And in many more places!
