Geschichte

Memum is an ambient project run by German artist David Georgos. He is also know under the electronica based moniker Locoto. Furthermore Georgos is involved with a ream of other music projects and collaborations such as the dream-pop band Foundling or long lasting kosmische Musik influenced work for VtotheD. His project Memum is predominantly inspired by the beauty of nature, love, affection and has it's essence in organic dreamscapes. While shifting ranges of fieldrecordings, acoustic instruments and sublte electronics, the sound is mastered to a sensitive ensemble. Profoundly transforming into a excuisite sonic world of it's own, Memum transcribes sound into a graceful embrace towards the presence and constant impression of wonder. Furthermore, as the sound indulges it shapes to a inmost ambience which one can reflect upon and grow together with. Memum's debut album ''Became A Leaf'' released in 2014 by Unperceived Records received a warm passage by it's listeners. At present Georgos is working on variety schemes including the second album of Memum set to be released in 2017.
