The Millennium Express ist the media campaign of the DAAD’s Development-Related Postgraduate Courses programme.

Geschichte

The Millennium Express first got its start as a workshop series. Scholarship holders from the DAAD’s Development-Related Postgraduate Courses programme organised their own multi-disciplinary workshops, which took place at a number of different universities throughout Germany. Each of the Millennium Express workshops functioned like a station along a train route that made its way through the country.
Student-organised interdisciplinary workshops are still part of the “itinerary”, creating rich opportunities to come into contact and exchange ideas. The Millennium Express has also expanded into the virtual world, offering up-to-date information and social networking on its attractively designed and dynamic website and Facebook page.
