Ruby Hotels is a family of hotels, aware of the needs of a new generation of travelers.
Breaking new grounds with our LEAN LUXURY Philosophy.
Like you, we travel a lot. We’ve always wondered why luxury hotels always have to be overly complicated. And why pay more, than what it is actually worth to you? That’s how Ruby came to be.
Lean Luxury – this is our philosophy.
To us, luxury means laid-back comfort instead of formalities. Inspiring people instead of pretty facades. Character and soul instead of polished surfaces. No expensive prestige addresses, but where the authentic heart of the city beats.
We love our neighbourhood and we constantly contribute to the creative scene as well as to the environment. This is what feels right to us. We prefer rough edges instead of slipperiness, nonchalance than overdressed, laughing loudly and heartfully instead of gossiping quietly.
To us, lean means not paying for things you don’t need or want. We consistently leave away things we deem as unimportant. We don’t need a restaurant or room service in a hotel that is located in the heart of the city. Instead, we want an easy-going bar which is open 24/7.
We don’t need huge rooms, because luxury can also work in confined spaces if you look at luxury yachts. But, we also want everything to have its place and the most important things to work perfectly: being connected, sleeping and freshening up.
And since we aren’t only hoteliers, but also architects and software engineers, we also act lean behind the scenes: We organize ourselves quite differently than conventional hotels.
We consequently use IT where it makes sense. We plan, create and build skillfully, to make the most of the space available. This is how we save us and you a lot of money. It feels right.
