Unsere Aufgabe

We want to provide you with facts about the history of the site of the former Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and the former Soviet special Camp.
Understanding Sachsenhausen also means: learning about National Socialism, the persecution of political opponents, homosexuals, people who were defined to be "asocial" or "inferior", Roma and Sinti, and the Holocaust.
It is the outspoken will of the survivors that their stories and of those who were killed to be told. We feel comitted to preserving the remebrance about the camp and the use of the site after the end of World War II.
