Silverback is a brand of the Superbike Technologies Group (STG) which is a global distribution and brand management company. At Silverback the focus is bikes and only bikes, designing and developing Lightweight Performance Bikes.

The Silverback brand was founded in 2004. The Silverback team consists of the industry's top talent, working in various departments such as Design, Manufacturing, Spec, Sales, Marketing and Administration.

We are progressive and forward thinking, focused on process, design and development, and the acceleration and advancement of bicycling innovation.

By 2008, increased demand from European markets led to Silverback's rapid global expansion. Currently Silverback is available in 49 countries, showing our global growth and popularity. This expansion was cemented with a prestigious Eurobike Award in 2012 for our groundbreaking road bike design; the Scalera Pro with disc brakes, and special mentions of our distinctive uni-fit City Bike, the Starke, featuring a USB device charging hub. In 2014, we received another Eurobike award for our full suspension mountain bike, the Sesta (SBC Concept 1.0), a high-end 29er racing machine using our ground-breaking BURST Suspension.

The accolades do not stop there. In 2016 we won the German Design Award and the German Brand Award from the German Design Council. This is no small feat and is a testament to the blood, sweat & tears we put into our product development & innovations, and our continued effort to establish Silverback as a world-class brand.

Silverback worldwide also owns subsidiary operations in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa.
Silverback Technologie GmBh in Germany houses an industry leading Operations Centre. The facility features Offices, a Cinema, various Interactive Digital Displays, a Showroom, and a Distribution Centre and Warehouse from where we supply the world with Lightweight Performance Bicycles.

We do not only win awards from our peers, but our race team, OMX Pro Bike Team, have been winning races and accolades around the world. We are proud to announce that OMX Pro Bike Team ends off the 2016 season ranked 12th in the UCI World Rankings. This ranking is achieved by the team giving it their all in the races they competed in. The Cape Epic, the World Cup circuit and even the 2016 Rio Olympics saw these exceptional athletes achieve glory on their Silverback race machines.
