Geschichte

SIRO LASERTEC was established by Rolf Okyay and Silvio Valenta in June 1993. Its first area of business was laser contract work with laser welding systems. The business idea of the simultaneous sale of laser systems and suitable contact with a laser manufacturer newly established on the market brought the commercial breakthrough. We had already distinguished ourselves from our competitors in the machine tool trade with the knowledge and expertise gained from our laser contract work; a circumstance that has greatly helped many customers in the integration of laser technology for their own manufacturing. As a pioneer in laser technology, Siro is a forerunner for many manufacturers worldwide. Not forgetting either the support from our sales partners around the globe who take care of maintenance and on-site induction. Without them we would not be able to manage the enormous expense, as there are already several thousand laser systems in operation.

The company’s large machine pool at Pforzheim in Germany comprises the latest welding, cutting and engraving equipment of various performance levels for a very diverse range of applications. “Customer feedback influences ongoing further development. This means that we are in the position today of being able to carry out almost every customer enquiry.“ Typical applications are in the fields of medical technology and precision engineering – wherever there’s a need for precision, quality and safety.
