Welcome to the Int. SUBARU Skadi Loppet. Skadi SUBARU Loppet is one of the largest nordic events in Germany. The race is placed on the third weekend in march. Every year we welcome over 2000 competitors from 20 Nations, which come together in Bodenmais for the season-final. In the Skiarea Bodenmais-Bretterschachten the snowconditions are still good until the end of march. On Friday the event is opened by Euroloppet Sprint in the centre of Bodenmais. On Saturday there is a Mini-Skadi-Loppet 2 km / 4 km for children between 4 to 12 years. It is funny to see the little one's fighting on their small skiers like the tall one's. Than there is the start for the Int. Sparkassen Jet about 30 km, 10 km, 6 km skating-race. The distance depents on the age. We are happy to see you for price giving in the evening in town. Sunday is the day of the classical competitions - the Int. Skadi-Loppet. The first race is about 42 km, followed by 20 km. The price giving for this races is in the early afternoon in Bodenmais. The best participants of each cadegory will get crystaltrophies from JOSKA CRYSTAL (producer of FIS World CUP). Although each competitor this weekend will recieve a special Skadi-Loppet-present. The competitions are the final of DSV-XC-series and the Int. SUBARU Skadi Loppet is part of Euroloppet, which compares the ten greatest xc-marathon-races in europe. The organisation of this event belongs to the nordic ski club Skadi Bodenmais. The name Skadi comes from the skigodness. We are a small club with the annual highlight Int. SUBARU Skadi Loppet. All do their job as a volunteer.
