Geschichte

TOYOTA Motorsport GmbH (TMG) is a unique high-performance testing and development facility located in Cologne, Germany.

Specialising in high technology, TMG is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the TOYOTA Motor Corporation and offers its services to external clients as well as members of the TOYOTA family.

Constructed to the highest standards with no compromise on quality or functionality, the 30,000m² facility and its highly-skilled staff of around 250 offer a remarkable range of machines, facilities and expertise.

In addition to engineering services to external parties, TMG is also the home of TOYOTA works motorsport in Europe. TMG deisgned and built the TS040 HYBRID which won five out of eight races in 2014 and became Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ World Champion with TOYOTA.

TMG is active in customer motorsport as well with an expanding range of products, including the freshly-homologated GT86 CS-R3 rally car and the race-ready GT86 CS-V3, which benefits from its own competition, the TMG GT86 Cup, as part of the VLN championship at the Nürburgring.
