Geschichte

Doctoral candidates form the heart of the research culture here at the Technische Universität München. The TUM Graduate School therefore particularly promotes the interdisciplinary and international qualification. It thus ensures that at the end of their doctoral program, young and talented scientists will not only have vital skills such as team leadership and project management, but also the entrepreneurial spirit all of which are crucial in shouldering responsibilities in leading roles within industry, academia and science.

The TUM Graduate School‘s networking events offer our doctoral candidates the possibility to develop points of contact with the latest research projects of other disciplines and the opportunity to further develop existing ones.

Our fifteen Faculty Graduate Centers and ten interdisciplinary Thematic Graduate Centers provide doctoral candidates with subject specific courses focusing especially on their individual research areas in addition to individual guidance.
