Uwe Herbstreit - Therapeutic Applications

Geschichte

Uwe Herbstreit was born in Freiburg, Germany 1964. He completed his study in Physiotherapy 1995 in Bad Krozingen, Germany. During his apprenticeship in the Rheintal Clinic, a Rehabilitation Center for orthopedic patients, Uwe got in contact with GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®, founding immediately an immense interest for both Methods.

Uwe started deepening into the Systems and got certified 1997 in GYROTONIC® and 2000 in GYROKINESIS®.

Several years in the Orthopedic clinic and in his own Physiotherapy Center, made him a competent Therapist in the Application of GYROTONIC® for Orthopedic issues.
Uwe is specialized also in Manual techniques and Lymphatic drainage.

Since 2009 Uwe travels around the world to teach Specialized workshops like GYROTONIC® Applications for Pelvic Girdle, Shoulder Girdle and Scoliosis.

The GYROTONIC® method applied into therapy, allows to accelerate the Rehabilitation postoperative process.
Patients learns new movement pattern, which can be stabilized and applied in there daily life.

The GYROTONIC® method is based on spiraling, flowing, multi-directional movements, helping to improve strength, flexibility and coordination.
GYROTONIC® is using the spine as a Center of Coordination for all somatic, visceral and emotional processes.

Uwe`s Reha-Training aims to provide comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services incorporating specialized GYROTONIC® exercise approaches. His service aims to

• restore personal autonomy and independence
• improve function in normal daily activities, sports and hobbies
• support professional athletes (with an immense experience with professional soccer players in the German "Bundesliga") in improvement of coordination, strength, speed and dynamic as well as in speeding regeneration processes through active functional workouts.
