Geschichte

In Bonn gibt es für Partys seit 21 Jahren eine Adresse: das Carpe Noctem!

Das Carpe Noctem gehört zum festen Bestandteil der Nightlife-Szene in Bonn. Nach der anfänglichen musikalischen Orientierung im alternativen Sektor bietet das legendäre Carpe heute mit Rock, Classics, Black Music und aktuellen Clubkrachern für jeden etwas, der gern feiern geht. Die traditionelle Atmosphäre des Carpe, angesiedelt im Bereich „Titty Twister“, günstige Getränke an der längsten Theke Bonns und perfekter Service ermöglichen jedem Gast entspannt abzufeiern.

Was invited for a university semester opening party, i wanted to buy the tickets and the bouncer heard i'm speaking in English so he asked the ticket lady to return my money and denied me entry. I asked why he said " Because .. " , i asked because what? , he replied " Just because .. " .  i waited for my German friends to arrive so i could go with them and they explained to him that we are a group and i'm new in town , according to them because i have a black hair and i speak English he doesn't want me inside , i quote my friend said " he won't allow you in because you don't fit " . my friend was almost going to cause a problem so i backed him far from the entrance, there were like 15 students outside and saw me treated like i did something wrong or had bad intentions. 

Bottom line is: for the first time in my life i was a subject of Racism, and what's worse about it is the bouncer was of African roots which means he understands what it is like to be discriminated against, i hope the management of the club sees this and do something about it , because i got at least 5 witnesses who saw it happen

Too loud music, bad choice of drinks. Rather cheap though.

The bouncers refused a friend without giving a reason after checking his ID, when we asked was it because he wasn't German, the bouncers said they don't have to give a reason. He won't get in. It's not even a top-notch club or something.

Decent club that usually plays American hits ranging from the 90s till today. Not the best club in my opinion but if youre in Bonn there are not many options to begin with and this one allows you to scratch that itch.
