Ich habe am Workshop "Next-Generation Sequencing Data Analysis: A Practical Introduction" teilgenommen und war sehr zufrieden. Der Kurs war sehr gut organisiert, sehr ausgewogen bzgl. praktischer und theoretischer Anteile und Fragen wurden immer direkt und ausreichend beantwortet. Ich würde auch an ähnlichen Workshops von ecSeq teilnehmen und kann diese nur empfehlen.

Der Kurs hat mir als absoluter Einsteigerin geholfen, meine RNASeq Daten  auszuwerten. Er bietet eine sehr gute Grundlage und nach Besuch des Kurses ist man in der Lage, erste einfach Analysen selbst durchzuführen. Die Organisation die Kurses hat mir gut gefallen. Die Kursleiter waren kompetent und die Inhalte gut gewählt, so dass auch Nicht-Computerspezialisten gut mitmachen konnten. Schön ist auch, dass die zur Verfügung gestellten Materialien bereits eigene Analysen erlauben, ohne komplizierte Installationen vorzunehmen und dass alle verwendeten Materialen frei zugänglich sind.

Super NGS workshop mit allen nötigen Basics. Ich hatte mein Skript nach einem Jahr verloren und brauchte es für eine neue Analyse. Nach kurzer Nachfrage bei ecSeq hatte ich innerhalb von einer Woche Ersatz. Tiptop!

I attended the Berlin Summer School in NGS Data Analysis organized by ecSeq Bioinformatics GmbH. The registration was simple and quick. The venue was in the center of Berlin, near the hotels, and conveniently located near important tourist sights. The summer school lectures were fascinating and of high quality. The instructors made a great effort to make the topic understandable. They were happy to help and answer the questions if we did not understand something. The course was of high quality and also beginner-friendly! I participated in the online workshop "A practical introduction to NGS data analysis" organized by ecSeq Bioinformatics GmbH. The course was a really good starting point for sequencing data analysis. The course material is well-structured, figures are clear and informative. The instructors are really well-prepared and sparing no time, conscientiously answered all the questions raised. The workshop exceeded my expectations. It was well designed and well laid out for 4 days. Apart from theory, there were excercises at each stage which worked well for basic as well as advanced users. The instructors were competent and their excellent communication helped us to absorb this advanced course. They also provided opportunity to discuss our custom problems. Found out about the Berlin Summer School in NGS Data Analysis organised by ecSeq Bioinformatics GmbH, Leipzig, by googling for NGS courses. Registration was convenient and quick. Venue was centrally located. The instructors were very organised during the workshop. Their sharing the talks within the days and across different topics made the sessions lively, and of diverse perspectives. While the course content was quite intense they ensured that the sessions were interactive and no one was left behind. Beginners with no previous knowledge of bioinformatics would highly benefit from taking such a course. Highly recommend! Overall I really enjoyed the course, I mean it was a lot of input but that's how it is when you try to pack as much as possible into four days. It was possible to follow the course and if there were any problems, help was always given quickly. The workshop 'A Practical Introduction to NGS Data Analysis' was really helpful to get an overview of how NGS works and how to deal and analyse the data derived from sequencing. The workshop was well structured, alternating more theoretical explanations about library preparation with learning the code neccesary for the data analysis and been able to practice by your own in a terminal. Der Workshop war gut strukturiert und wechselte eher theoretische Erklärungen zur Bibliotheksvorbereitung mit dem Erlernen des für die Datenanalyse erforderlichen Codes ab und konnte selbst in einem Terminal üben.
