We really enjoyed our trip to Dusseldorf, in late September 2017. Also, we enjoyed our visit to Duisburg Zoo. We were really pleased to see how clean and the layout of this zoo was great. The animals were well taken care of and their areas were kept clean as Zoo staff should. The only thing is, the animals were so quiet and you cannot see them so up close! And there is no feeding time for audience to feed the animals. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The food was good although very expensive, especially for big families.Also, we loved the dolphin show:) !

It was great and they have a wide variety of animals. 
- Aquarium is also nice with decent species of fish.
- Dolphin show is a big highlight and worth every penny. 
- 1 Lion and 2 Lionesses are there but the cages are too small for them. The area outside is also not that big.
- Two Tigers next to Delphinarium are nice and healthy.
- A very entertaining place for kids. My daughter had time of her life.
- Bears, Monkey house are good.
- Ziraffe and Elephants close to the entrance are quite good. The place is also bog enough for them.

Worth every penny.

Very nice. Lots of animals and different things to see. Include a dolphin show. The only thing that was not too great that there was a distance between the fence and the place to watch. Its very hard to take pictures because of the fence. Then the windows were dirty. But for the rest it was nice. Hope someday u get more parrots.

It was a fine zoo with a lot of animals, but I feel sorry for them. They are ment to live free in the wild.

We spent fantastic day in Zoo Duisburg. We started with the Dolphin show and then moved around. The area is very green and nicely organized. It is also clean and very well cared. simply nice to be. Several playgrounds for kids, animal shows..we had a highlight after highlight. The area of the house animals was also a lot of fun! It is not big and easy to move around. The only negative is the highway that is located in the middle of the Zoo and is really loud. Regarding food it is as usual Pommes and Wurst as elsewhere in Germany 😜
