Geschichte

The Atlantic Academy is organized as a non-profit, non-partisan organization and was founded to give meaning to the transatlantic values by inviting both Americans and Europeans citizens to come together and discuss these values, their implications for the lives of citizens as well as the domestic and foreign policies of their respective countries.

To keep this community of values alive, citizens on both sides of the Atlantic are invited to engage in a dialogue in order to develop a deeper understanding of each other and to reconcile their differences, if necessary. This discussion needs to be conducted critically and openly.

Our events and publications create opportunities for Germans and Americans to meet and discuss the various aspects of transatlantic relations.
