What a nice hotel! It's quite modern and very hip! The rooms are well equipped, with charging stations for mobiles and other stuff，which is a big plus. They comes with air conditioning, free WLan, comfortable beds and for me with a great sight to the Rhine River. There is a very long promenade along that River, directly at the hotel, where you can go for a walk, jog or visit the playgrounds if you stay with kids. The hotel also has a beautiful and lovely designed lobby, where you find workstations, books, colouring pens and other nice stuff. The staff is quite friendly. There is a little on the downside: language is English, which is unusual in German hotels for German guests (like me). And the breakfast buffet is sometimes messy. But in summary, the hotel is a great place to be, I totally recommend it!

The good about this hotel is it is very clean and modern and the rooms are very comfortable. If you are here on leisure, a great place to stay. As a business traveler, the room does not have a proper desk, which is a big strike, for me anyway, against coming back. Also, there is no room safe which I think is a must have in a hotel room.

This motel has only been open two months as of our stay. The staff is friendly. The design is very fun and hip. Very bright, cheerful and encouraging you to hang out downstairs. The room size is okay. But no storage space by design. For an overnight guest this is okay, but for a week long guest, it's a bit inconvenient. The bathrooms are smallish, but laid out well. They don't seem to be receiving any of the heat coming into the room. Hair/body wash and conditioner are provided in the shower, along with a hair dryer. A handy feature in the room is a motion sensored light underneath the foot of the bed. The light cones on when you step onto the floor and stays on for a short while, making it easy to see your way to the bathroom. There is supposed to be the ability to cast Netflix or other streaming program from your mobile device to the tv, but the ability is not working at this time. The staff was apologetic and assured us that it is being worked on. The break breakfast buffet is European Continental with a good variety of foods. There is also a menu to order a few cooked foods that are prepared behind the bar. Beer, wine, water, soft drinks, snacks and simple food items are available for purchase in the lobby.

This is a fun and hip hotel... or at least that’s how they want to come across. One thing it isn’t - is family oriented or high on service. Our room was not made/ cleaned/refreshed for two of our four nights here. But you can’t just pick up the room telephone as there aren’t any. You need to walk downstairs and wait in line for at least ten minutes. The fastest way to actually get service is to call the front desk from your cellphone. My comment on not being a family oriented establishment is related to all the vulgarities written on the cool red/pink lockers in the lobby. Words and adult-themed evenings are mentioned as if really cool. I am not being a prude here. This is about being correct and age-appropriate and not mentioning used condoms and panties and female dogs in a very public area where you wait for the elevators and your children (or adults who don’t like looking at this will see it). I actually found th experience offensive. As a Marriott Platinum member I will never again stay at a Moxy again - not will I recommend it to anyone else.
