2017, a new year in Music Productions.

Sound Bunker Studios - The Drum Dungeon, a 300sqm Recording Studio, 62km up North from Hamburg in a small town called Wahlstedt, next to Bad Segeberg and Lübeck and 42km away from Kiel.

We mainly focus on good sounding Drum and live recordings due to our big room and the separation of three booths.

The Drum Dungeon with its nice ambient sounding recording room of 62sqm and 3 m high ceilings, a smaller room for multiple recording purposes with 26sqm and, a vocal booth and a 35sqm spacious control room.
Well equipped with high end gear, drums, amps and a real Piano.
The size and seperated booths also offers the ability to run live band sessions.

We record digital, but also offer the good old vintage and analog gear, a top selection of pre amps, high standard Microphones and outboards.
The DD offers a cozy and comfortable working environment and guarantees the rich sound everyone is looking for. The main room was extra designed to give the right sound for acoustic instruments, especially drums.

The studio also offers accommodation and has an ensuite facility which sleeps 5-6 people, with a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and lounge.
We can also suggest apartments or 4 - 5 star Hotels in the nearby areas.

You can hire the entire Studio on a weekly, daily or hourly basis and choose who you want to work with. We work with other top Engineers and Producers and other Studios worldwide and can also offer you fair prices for Mix and Master!

With a good sounding room, good gear, experienced and experimenting staff we like to say that …..”Nothing is impossible”!

MARK CROSS, also known as the “Powerhouse”, a world class drummer, who has worked with some of the greatest Bands and Artists in Rock History. Bands like The Scorpions, Firewind, Helloween, Kingdom Come, Joe Lynn Turner, Ian Gillan, Tank, Tower of Babel, Tainted Nation and the Vivaldi Metal Project to name a few, have given him a great reputation in the industry and is the head behind the Drum Dungeon.
Great sounding drums were always what he aimed for and being a busy Musician, he decided to create his own facilities to record his Music and recapture the old ways of recording.

It was the time, when Mark moved from London to Hamburg in 2014 and was looking for the right place to set up his gear. He worked the first couple of years Managing the Rockin´Restaurant Zwick in Altona and also the Zwick recording Studio above the Club. Unfortunately the Business and premises were shut down in 2016 and Mark had to look once more for a new shelter, which took him nearly 14 months.
Today a new location has been found and we are ready to rock!
Mark shares his “knowhow” in Drum recording, you can rent the place, bring your own gear, but he also offers his drum services to record as a drummer or produce your Music out of “The Drum Dungeon” for Musicians, Bands, Newcomers or established Artists.

“The internet has made instant communication possible, as well as rapid file sharing to quickly complete Productions. We can exchange files via our ftp servers, WeTransfer or DropBox and deliver edited and great sounding drums for you.
You don’t have to be a famous Musician to work with famous Musicians, I am very keen to explore and share every opportunity with you.”

Mark’s longtime experience as a recording and touring Artist, as well as a recording seminar Tutor for the SAE allows him to apply top playing, recording and mixing skills and bring your Production to a world class level.
Mark has also worked in the past with producers like Charlie Bauerfeind (Helloween), Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore), Kip Winger and Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Outloud)

Das Sound Bunker Studio / The Drum Dungeon ist ein Tonstudio in dem kleinen Ort Wahlstet neben Bad Segeberg und Lübeck, 64km nördlich von Hamburg und 42km von Kiel entfernt.

DAS DRUM DUNGEON STUDIO

Mit Vintage und auch neuerer Hardware, klassischen Outboards und Mikros haben wir uns hauptsächlich auf Analoge Schlagzeugaufnahmen konzipiert. Aber nicht nur, natürlich könnt Ihr hier auch alles weitere aufnehmen, Gitarren, Bass, Gesang, Keyboards oder Klavier um Eure Produktion zu fahren.

STAFF

MARK CROSS, der Englisch/Deutsche Veteran Trommler, der mit Grössen wie den Scorpions, Firewind, Helloween, Tainted Nation, Kingdom Come, Ian Gillan, Tower of Babel, Vivaldi Metal Project u.a. unterwegs war, ist der Kopf hinter dem Drum Dungeon Studio.

Mark bietet sein “knowhow” in Drum Recordings und natürlich auch seinen Drumservice an und kann je nach Bedarf für Eure Produktionen das Schlagzeug einspielen.

Wir können alle files über unseren FTP Server, Dropbox oder WeTransfer schnell und einfach teilen und Euch editierte und gut klingende Drums hochladen.
Man braucht kein bekannter Musiker mehr zu sein um mit bekannten Musikern zu arbeiten, ich bin gerne bereit neues auszuprobieren und mit jedem zu arbeiten!”

Mark´s langjährige Erfahrung als Studio und Live Musiker, auch als Seminar Leiter in der SAE, erlaubt ihm Top Spielen und Techniken anzuwenden, um Euren Sound und Produktion auf einen Weltklassen Level zu bekommen.
Mark hat unter anderem mit Produzenten wie Charlie Bauerfeind (Helloween), Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore), Kip Winger und Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Outloud) gearbeitet.
